SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT UI REDESIGN MOCKUPS
In my Junior year at Endicott, my classmates and I were tasked with bringing this Java web app to React all while updating old features and design principles. As someone who wants to work in UI/UX, I took it upon myself to make mockups that my team and I could work from. I made these two for the two pages I worked on, the front page and the faculty page. The before pictures have the big black bar on the top, and the after pictures have images and are less detailed.
This is what the app originally looked like before I went and redesigned it.
Here is the redesign I did. I mocked everything up in Adobe xD, then presented it to my co-workers, taking their advice and critique into account and then implementing it into my design. I also did front end coding to create interactive versions of these that were later used in the app itself. I used HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create these pages in Ionic.
